Woa my fist birthday in Brazil! Its weird to think I am going to be big 20 this week. 10 years ago I thought I would never be that old. Mom thank you for sending my Birthday card though the email it was an early Birthday Present and I really liked it. I can´t wait to get the real thing haha I love the picture of Devin and Becca haha. The picture made me realize how many great friends and family I have. I am really lucky to be surrounded by all of you and your love and friendship is being rubbed off here in Brazil. Sister Tryon vocé é firme e forte you write me a letter every week and thank you so much for the happy birthday wish at the end. Dad have fun at Crescent bar tell them not to tear the place down until I get one last tripe over there. The weather down here is getting a little crazy. Being from Washington I though I knew what rain was, but the other day I was shown up. It pored so hard and there was so much lightning that all the power in our area shut off and the only light we had was my cell phone haha. it was so cool I wish I had my camera. I just want to let you know that I am still having a great time down here before I describe my companion. This week has been a huge trial for me, my companion has really been testing my patience and I handled every situation staying calm and that has helped against any contention. I think my companion forgets sometimes that he is still my trainer and I am not a 1year and 1 month missionary like himself. I am having a hard time opening up to him when I know he will break me down. Its all good for me though I am getting stronger and am trying a lot harder to speak to him and people during lessons. I hope this hasn't left too bad of an impression on him, he is trying what he thinks is best for me. Anyways we are working a lot harder on finding new investigators because a lot of our old ones are "MOLE" which means soft or lazy. Its too bad seeing some of these people start to move away from the gospel, but I know we at least planted some firm seeds for future missionaries. One family that I love is Josê e Flaviana they are both muito legal! one thing that was funny is Josê didn't go to church last week because he didn't know how to tie a tie haha. So after our lesson I taught him how its done Crandall style. I will defiantly give him a tie if he gets baptized. I am really lucky to have this unique opportunity to be a missionary. Trust me it is really hard, but at the same time I have never seen so much personal progress in myself. I am excited to see the amount I will learn in another 4 months haha. Pday hoje was really fun it was my first time playing futbol down here. The people are really good, but I still managed to score 2 goals haha. I hope I get more opportunity's to play, but my companion is more of a stay home and read kind of guy so we will see how things will play out in the future. Me and my companion are really different from each other he is really serious and I am more goofy and calm. So this will be the last month with President Jackson which is too bad because He is really awesome! He is more chill and funny and very spiritual. I have already learned so much from him. The next President will be a Brazilian and I hear he is going to be a little more strict. (rumor on the street is we have to use brief cases instead of backpack....I hope its just a rumor). Obrigado Brian for the email and the support, If the third transfer is better then the 2nd then I will work hard until I am rewarded with an even better transfer haha. Devin and Becca hang in there keep searching for a job and stay in Washington! Trust me you don´t know what rain is haha. So I am going to be um Tio (uncle) next month! I am so pumped I can´t wait to see her! Melisa I hope you are happy being nice and pregnant I remember you saying you were angry because you didn´t look pregnant enough haha. Congrats both of you and best of luck being grownups. Next email will have better pictures I promise, I hope my birthday package gets to me haha. I love you all so very much and thank you all so much for the love and support you have given me through out the years! Eu amo vocês! I have to get back to work so Atê logo!
