Tome maís ELDER!

Well this week had its ups and downs that's for sure. It was my first time I got sick here in Brazil, but it sounds like I wasn't the only one who got a virus this week ha-ha. It all started last Thursday when I started to feel really tired when I woke up and was kind of falling asleep at lunch. We left to teach a few investigators then meet up at the church to go on divisions with a few members. That's when I felt the need to throw up, but nothing would come out so we went on our way to teach a lot of people. After a few houses I started to feel really sick and in fact stopped the lesson and asked if we could end with a prayer and mark another day. After stumbling out the door I walked all the way back to church with a really short member who walks really slow. When I got to the church I ran to the bathroom and threw up all in the toilet ha-ha. That night was seminary also so I think a few people heard the sound of rushing water in the bathroom ha-ha. So with my companion still on divisions with a member I waited things out a bit then meet up with him at the house of an investigator and managed to hold everything in until later that night when we got home I was able to throw up again. The next day I spent a few hours in bed, but had to leave because we had a few meetings and investigators to teach. That night we managed to mark a person for baptism for this Saturday and the mom was so kind to make me juice. But the problem was everyone was telling me that I need to drink more and more so I would get better sooner. (Yea were is the thinking in that?) SO after drinking 3 giant cups we left the house and I puked right in front of their house, in the street, and up the stairs that leads to our street. Yea Tome maís, Drink more elder...not. Then the next day I just slept for a good part of the day and left again to teach and we ran into a family that I baptized that wanted us to give a blessing in their new house that they found. Only the Dad isn't baptized and he is really starting to turn around because of the support of the Church members. But latter that night we ordered pizza and I felt better.

So this week we have 3 baptisms and hopefully all will turn out right and everyone comes we might be able to baptize 2 more next week. So keep our area in your prayers and I love all of you and I am really happy for all the photos and emails you sent!
