Semma 2

Oh man were to start. I remember before my mission people would always say ahh my mission was the best and hardest two years of my life. Well part of that is true right now it is really is hardest time of my life ha ha, and a little fun right now. So for last week we had a scheduled baptism with Marilene, but three hours before she backed out and said she wants to do it next Saturday. Mas we have had a lot of success talking with other investigators and I think we might have at least one next week. That language is still really hard and I feel like I am not progressing at all ha ha. I feel like I am doing worse right now with the language, but then again it is only my second week out on the mission. Thank you everyone for the prayers I really need it.

Oh last week we had a huge conference with all the missionaries I think 105 or so were there and we had a member of the 70 speak to us. It was amazing and the spirit  was so strong!  Elder Holmestrom I think that how you spell it. He spoke about why we have meetings and the importance of them. No matter how big or small a meeting is we start with a song and a prayer. Both are a great way to invite the spirit. He also spoke about those people who do not feel the spirit after a meeting and he said if they do not participate with singing and putting away your phones or anything that would distract you. If you wish to feel the spirit at a meeting you have to put forth the effort and give it a chance. Then he spoke about why we are here in this meeting right now? We are here to be instructed and edified. Reason why we instruct and edify so we may change or do something better. This is the law of eternal progression continually changing and improving. If your purpose is to improve after this meeting you will have the sprit with you. Also a fun fact that he told us is that since Brazil is growing so much in the church and has so many missionaries and leaders coming from it that they will soon be able to send Brazilian missionaries to other parts of the World. So far there is only one Country that sends missionaries somewhere else and that is The United States.

The work is growing like crazy down here I can´t wait till I understand what people are saying and build relationships with people then help them in building their relationship with their Savior and Father in Heaven.

So in my area we have a young man named Itamar he is super cool and is always with us when we teach. He is the first member of the church in his family and he is  going to serve in Santa Maria Rio grade do sul. Me and elder Nunes are doing well together I am helping him with English and he is helping me with Portuguese. The work is hard, but I will love it a lot more when I can communicate with people haha. I need to get back to work Tcheu
