Dad way to go at the golf tournament you will need the practice when I come home and show you how to get first place haha. Mom I am glade you had a great trip and I miss Aaron and his family haha, ( Dragon Rider!)
Então has been a lot better I think. I am doing a bit better with the language this week and we set a lot of goals for ourselves that will really push us. My companion is well and we are ready to go out and meet tons of people . Yesterday at church we had an unexpected investigator come to church. He is the Boyfriend of our investigator Mariana who seems to be having a hard time deciding between her old life and eternal happiness. Antonio is 23 years old and looks like a brazilin version of Peter Parkers friend in spider man I forget his name. He is a good kid and is easy to get along with and I hope we can meet with him more in the future. We had a Zone Conference this week which was really cool and was my first and last with President Jackson.
We talked a lot about temples this week with our investigators especially José e Flaviana they have um filho named wesley who is 1 year old. We gave them a picture of the São Paulo Temple and talked about how they can be sealed together with their kid after baptism and then we showed them this film that made me almost cry because it was so beautiful. I kept the thought in my mind that the people in this video who were happy with their family was me and that I can be with my family forever if we all decide to make the right choices. I gave the closing prayer and started crying haha it was an awesome lesson. But on Sunday they didn´t come to church because they got in a fight and Flaviana didn´t want to talk about it, but we talked more about families with José and Flaviana and I think it help them resolve their conflicts.
Sorry mom and dad for some reason the computer is not letting me access my files for my pictures. I don´t know why it worked last time and not this time.
Its getting colder in Brazil everyday it seems. My companion is super cold because he is used to the warm and I am still walking outside with a short sleeve shirt because it is perfect for me haha. My companion simpre asks me Elder are you cold yet? I know the colder weather is coming, but right now it is fine and is nice and sunny. I haven´t had a huge rain storm yet I am still waiting for it so far we have had weak Seattle rain haha.
Please tell Dustin to write me and give me an update on how things are going with him and my nice haha.
Brian and Dad I think of you guys a lot down here because a lot of people down here ride motorcycles, but they drive a bit more crazy haha. I have seen so many almost accident here in this area. When people driving cars are slow the motorcycles go in the other lane and pass them or they drive through a gas station to pass someone and the other day there were a few that rode on the sidewalk and were passing people up too haha.
Thank you everyone for the prayers and the letters. I got a letter from the stake president and the Hammers that was really thoughtful and lifted my spirits those days. A lot of the time your letters are answers to my prayers when I need something to lift me up or strive to work harder or need a quote to give to my investigators. Mom and Dad I have to end my letter short to figure out how to send my picture and write my president. Love you all so very much
