Fido

This week was an excellent week! I never meet so many elect people all in one week before. It was a great experience to see the lord taking care of my area. Last week I went on a lot of divisions to help the elders in my District and I left my area to my greeny companion and the other elder. It was a great experience to show my faith and my confidence in the lord that I am willing to do his will and help the other missionaries and confiar no Senhor. My district had a baptism the other day and I did the Baptism Interview and I have never seen a person so repented and completely ready to change his life. His testimony was super strong and it was a motivation to me to work harder in my area.

Today I am going to fast to help an investigator that we found last week. Actually he found us because he was talking in English to my companion when I was on a division. We marked an appointment and we taught him and his family. It was funny because he not only has a book of mormon in portugues, but in english as well haha. So we taught him the importance of the Book of Mormon and he was super interested. The only problem is that when we marked him for baptism he said he is about to get baptized in the other church on the 24! ahh so we are trying to help him get a testimony of the Book of Mormon before he makes any decision. We are praying and fasting for him so that we can teach with clarity and that he can ask God if the B.O.M is true. Its going to be  fast pace and crazy, I hope it all works out.

Also yesterday we had a little friend that came into our house, I was totally not expecting it. After planning and getting changed to go to bed, at the corner of my eye and out of no were enters this black furry figure. I was a little frightened at first and then I figured out that is was a puppy that managed to get under our garage door and get in our house because we like to leave the door open some times. So I told it to go away and then we felt sorry for it because it looked lost so we asked our neighbor who lives in front of us if it was his dog and he laughed and said he never seen the dog before and wondered how he got in and went to the very back to get in our house. Why did the dog all of a sudden decided to come to our house? so we played with him for a bit and he bit a hole in my brand new sock when we were playing and then we took pictures and told it to leave. Before he left he left us a stinky treat in front of our house...yea I don't want to clean it up.

So last week I made 1 year and 1 month on the mission and now I am starting to go down hill it seems like the days area going by way too quickly, maybe because I am eating too much pizza oh which reminds me the other day we discovered a pizza place that makes pizza with white chocolate in the crust YUM!!! I am totally going to miss the pizza here (as well as the people of course). Last week was really great and we bought hamburgers and had a BBQ at home, I like it when I am with an American just because we make good old fashion AMERICAN food haha.

I love you all so very much and It looks like I will be staying here in this area for another month so be prepared to hear some more cool stories from here.
