Vocé doise são chamado Elder?

Well just to let you know how my week went it can be summed up in a few words...Why the rain?!

We set a huge goal for ourselves to make a thousand contacts, but because of the rain we feel very short of our goal. and the references we got from people were a waste of time because they gave us the name of the road which ends up to be 2 miles out and we get there and it ends up that the number doesn't exists. So its pretty much been a week of excuses and lying to us. I though my first week on the mission was hard, but I think this week has defiantly been the hardest both physically, spiritually, every fiber of my being is being tested to its limits here. I can only hope that through the obedience of  my faithful companion and me that the heavens can open up and have mercy on this area.
Alright, at least we went to the temple this week which is always a great experience and then we went to the Churrascaria ( Brazilian stake house) after it was great. Pretty much ate the best tasting meat for one hour strait.
Some of my responsibilities as a Leader de districto (district leader) is to print off of the computer and show my district how they are doing with baptisms and I have to encourage them and give advice, but the people that are needing help is our area ha-ha. In my district there is me my companion (Blake Lee Woodward) and two others, Elder Costa, e Elder Monteiro. Yea our president is making  smaller districts so the LD can take care and watch over better. I have to give a treinamento (training) every week in our district meetings and give advice and mark baptismal interviews and get the numbers of the other districts and pass them to my LZ. Its pretty fun we have a great time in our District meetings and I learn a lot when I have to learn something then teach it to the other elders in a different language. I have seen such a great improvement in my language. The language has been like the sun when it is rising up from the horizon, at first you are stuck in the dark then little by little the sun begins to appear. It comes so gradually that you don't really notice the improvement until you look back at the sunrise and realize how high it is up in the sky and how lit up is your path. Its pretty funny being with and American companion because we eat American food (which his family sends him almost every week) and we get to talk in english and portugues at the same time. well I have to print something out real quick so I got to go, but I love you guys so very much and I hope I get in a better mood by the end of next week ha-ha
Com amor
Elder Crandall
