So it sounds like everyone had a great Easter, I miss decorating eggs but that's alright next time I will already be home haha (I am getting old on the mission). No one decorates eggs just eats a lot of chocolate which is normal for any occasion right.
This Sunday we had 5 people go to church and 3 of them are marked for baptism! Pereira who was a miracle that he came back and accepted a baptismal date again went to church after we gave him a lesson about diligence. The act of doing something for a long period of time. Its a great way to show the lord we are willing to change and the lord loves us when we strive to follow him for a long period of time. Think how awful it would be if God wasn't constant in his promises. so we should follow his example and be more constant. So he said that he would be more constant and go to church every week. Also Maria Aparecida (the one with a million cats and dogs) went as well and she will be baptized next week so please pray for her. Also Vaneça who went as well who is pretty funny to teach because she hates to read and answer questions in public so she always tries to give excuses like the other day…. "guys I cant read today its Saturday", or… "i answered 3 questions yesterday its your turn to answer questions". She is funny and she is strong in her word, when she says 5 o'clock we have to be there at 5.
Yesterday one of the speakers didn't show up so I ended up giving a talk for 7 minutes which wasn't too shabby. I talked about the resurrection of Christ. On Easter we eat a lot of chocolate and for some reason the eggs are always hidden, but were exactly did Easter come from? So I talked about how Easter was before the birth of Christ with the people of Israel and the pass over of the destroying angel and then talked about how today we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Because he was Risen we shall all rise again.
Also another cool thing we will be going to the temple this Wednesday so my P day is on that day as well, but we still have to write the president and you guys today too. I will try to call Sandra's family and see if they can meet up at the temple as well. Our session is at 10: 30 so we will try to hook up before or after. And of course after the temple we are going to the restaurant next to the temple. Its 20 reais, but its all you can eat! We have been saving up to go eat there so its going to be a hard night of work afterwards haha.
The other day I had a dream again that I was at home, but didn't know whose house it was maybe Dustin's because Ella was there. Yea everyone was talking in português again which wasn't weird at the time until I realized that no one in my family speaks it and I woke up haha. The language is not a problem anymore, I have no problem speaking to everyone about everything, but I am still sticking strong to my study habits. Every day my companion and I will learn at least 20 verbs out of one of our books which is a Colum so we study a Colum a day and we test each other off and on. Luckily I am with Elder Blackford still so my English is not getting any worse so I think I will be able to get home without an accent haha we will see. Well I love you all so much and I am very grateful for your prayers and your email, remember to be constant with the lord in keeping his commandments and partaking of the Sacrament weekly!
