What a week

Looks like Ella is getting bigger and bigger every week! I can't wait to hold her and give her a hug! 

Elder Galbraith is an AP haha he is a great Elder I know that for sure, I was lucky enough to grow up around so many great people and  I am super blessed to have a loving family who cares for me and prays for me, not just my immediate family, but all my cousins and all those that I have come in contact with. 

This week has been very special, it went so well I don't know if I will be able to fit all my joy within this computer monitor. This week we managed to mark 10 people for baptism and almost followed up with each of them with a member. We are starting to find success here in our small area, and in our own personal lives. President teaches that we should save our souls first then establish the kingdom and save other around us. We have show the Lord our persistency in prayer and fast, never doubting and always following the promptings of the spirit. What was said yesterday that "when the lord commands and the man obeys that man is always right". Its a very simple formula, be obedient, listen to the promptings,  and DO...in this way you are always doing the right thing. 

Our Investigators are awesome a majority of them live on the same road and they are all friends and neighbors haha. Its really great to follow up with them because you just ask one and then they will report the progress of their neighbor haha. Also we are teaching one who live with two cousin and 79 CATS and 15 DOGS haha yea you heard me right. She is a geography teacher and she loves taking care of things. She loved the fact that the Book Of Mormon contains a history of the people who lived here in the Americas haha. She is marked for the 21st of April and is looking strong. The others we have marked for the 28th which is the day after Transfers, but even that I will work hard to help them all be baptized and leave my area stronger than when I found it for sure with 6 baptisms for the next elder haha. 

Also through a reference of another investigator we meet Alemão(german) which his real name is Luis, but he was baptized a few month ago in another church and he study's and knows the bible very well. We taught him and talked about authority to do baptism and I asked him the burning question, where did your church get its Godly authority...so we got him very interested and invited him to watch General Conference. The next day my companion felt that we should visit one more house that we have stopped to visit that lives on the Golden Road of Elect people. So we showed up and we meet a girl named Joice that we have only said hi to, that lives in the same hall and she said she has been wanting to talk to us for a long time and wanted to find a day for us to pass by. Also her friend Vanessa was there and she seemed like a "snake" at first but we told her to be there on our next visit. So the next day we went  to Joice's and the person who we have been teaching, but stopped going she said that she was sleeping and come by later, so we left  a little sad because we were super excited to teach her. As we were walking away we heard something hissing behind us (which a lot of people do here instead of whistle and usually is used for calling dogs or cute missionaries) so this time we looked back and it was Vanessa who was trying to call us back. She said that we needed to go back and that she would call Joice for us. It turns out that Vanessa is super elect and is not a snake and we marked her for baptism because Joices live  with another young man. Yea she is 16 and already has a baby so...its going to be some work to get them married and baptized. But at the end of marking Vanessa for baptism and saying a prayer we forgot to invite her for general conference. So we prayed and asked that the lord could help us in bring people to know the truth by watching general conference and that he would be able to provide a way to help people come. That Saturday we organized with the members and left one of the members to go with our investigator that has a lot of cats, and then we got another member to give us and another investigator a ride over there. But the investigator that we planned with wasn't home so we went to the Stake center without an investigator. We planned ahead of time for members to sit with investigators because we had to go to another room to watch conference in English. So we got all our investigators together with members and we were just about to leave to watch in English when Alemão and Vanessa show up! wow! so there was a purpose that we asked another member to come because he was perfect to sit with them. So it all worked out! So as what was said earlier when God commands and we obey we are always doing the right thing. Just think if we didn't listen to the spirit we would have had no one progressing and no members to help. This week truly was a week of miracles and I am excited to work with our investigators this week, and even though there will be difficulties, I will know that God trust me enough that I will overcome. I know that this is the true and only wonderful work of God and that I am bringing more children of God home.
